Join us for a Wine Dinner WIth Grgich Hills Estate Tuesday, July 14th
Old Soul, Living Soil.
The Grgich Hills Estate story is the stuff of wine legend. In 1976, a young Croatian winemaker named Miljenko “Mike” Grgich crafted the Chardonnay that bested France’s finest white Burgundies — a single bottle that put California wine on the world map and still sits in the Smithsonian today as one of “101 Objects That Made America.”
A year later, the winery was officially founded and has been setting the standard for Napa Valley ever since. Grgich Hills remains family-run and estate-grown. With every grape handpicked from vineyards farmed organically and regeneratively, they continue crafting wines in the same old-world tradition of the Dalmatian coast.
Tuesday evening will feature a guided tasting of seven wines — from Grgich’s benchmark Chardonnay to its Cabernet Sauvignon and beyond — paired with four seasonal courses from Chef Jonathan Simpson.
Hosted By Erin Orrego. 6:30pm. July 14th.
